All respect to Gard and the ball team, but this is the under-seeded Badger team that’s going to make a run. The captain, Dexheimer, is a smooth skating right shot defenseman that some nhl team will be lucky to sign after he leads his teammates to Vegas this spring.

@BadgerMHockey I remember going to the Kwik Trip tournament a few years ago and looking at the roster. I can’t believe Dexheimer wasn’t drafted. One NHL team is going to get super lucky signing him. One of the best captains in a while, from the fan perspective.

@quaksmoker @jacke_chris AB 1028 last year didn’t pass, thankfully. However, it will be reintroduced as liberals gain control. It will allow counties and municipalities to levy income tax. The federal govt takes 40%, state takes 8%, now municipalities? Add that to the property taxes you pay?

But, by and large there has been a strong balance of power between urban centers and rural areas for election turnout. Urban voter turnout has been suspiciously high lately…

@jackalope_7 @jacke_chris You realize Wisconsin has a looooong history of being a home for progressivism (“Forward” is our motto for a reason), even socialism.
What I’m saying is the state you love is the way it is today more because of that, than because of the last 20yrs of conservative rule.
