@RayGreyfox To be clear it’s ok to live 1500 miles from your campus, don’t show up for team activities and practice and just show up and meet your team for tournaments? This is a good model? This is what EMU wants representing it? That has to be rock bottom.

EMU golf is in the final 8 of women’s golf. They have two players from California that are high dollar NIL transfers that only take online classes and live in California. They rarely visit EMU. They meet up with the rest of the team for tournaments. Please tell me rock bottom.

@TrakeCarpenter Our sport is based on exemptions which you rightly earn (rankings all year!) Individuals who are ranked high enough to be All Americans need a chance at a NCAA title on their own!

Co-sign. Most of the field gets a shot at an individual title while not shooting a low enough score at regionals to advance, but they get it because their team made it. Yet only 6 individuals get a shot to make it through on their own.

@LukeWheeler2727 @GolfChannel Technically Stanfords 6 player and some other 6 players would have qualified on their own to get into NCAA Regionals. But players ranked 180-200 got in. Doesn’t provide strongest fields.

To the point @GolfChannel just made. Stanford 6-7 player could play 1-2 at some schools. Thus why we need an INDIVIDUAL NCAA Championship separate from the team. So those 6-7 players on top teams (and 1st team All Americans who are missing this week too!) have a chance to play.

@MSanker13062 @GolfChannel No we have always had an “individual” championship. But it coincides with the team. Trying to do two things at once. Imagine coaching/playing… your player needs a birdie (last hole par 5)to win individually but your team needs a par to advance to match play. How do you proceed?

Really quiet out of Alabama in regards to its women's program. Does that mean its a coach at the NCAA Finals? For the longest of time all thought it was a done deal with Derek Radley, but no so fast my friends. Thinking this job will raise a few eyebrows with its hire. Also don't be surprised if Mic Potter continues to coach... Oh yea, anyone going to hire Greg Robertson?
