To the point @GolfChannel just made. Stanford 6-7 player could play 1-2 at some schools. Thus why we need an INDIVIDUAL NCAA Championship separate from the team. So those 6-7 players on top teams (and 1st team All Americans who are missing this week too!) have a chance to play.

I teach compression hitting. Like golf, but not golf swing obviously. Down and through it. Why? Because I know what I’m talking about. I commented on one of your other stupid responses with my reasoning. Maybe you know a little, but it sounds like you don’t, but I’m not going to disparage you or your philosophy, nor do I care. I just know what worked for me and many others at the highest level that I played with and against. Unfollow me if you don’t like it, doesn’t matter to me.

When you swing up (intentionally) you are fighting gravity. Barrel goes down then up. Loopy. This is why we (former players and analysts who actually played at a high level) and not you or any other TikTok hitting guys say what we say about the art form that is hitting a baseball. When your hands start high and on plane with pitch, then work “down” through it with the hands, the barrel planes out and you match the plane of the pitch. (Launch angle) Now it kinda blows MY mind when someone who has never done it starts chirping saying we don’t know what we are talking about. Hitting is feel, and you can bring all the data you want, which is important to a certain extent, but, the feel of the bat going down through the zone is actually what allows the barrel to match the correct plane (launch angle for the nerds). Sure you can get away with a swinging up feel when guys are throwing 70. But try it when you facing 95. Good luck.

@CoachSwit I feel as though there was a lot of cheeping when I played. From HS to College, a lot. Some games worse than others, but definitely there. Just wasn’t on video and social media. The celebrations and bat flips seem to be relatively new though.

True or false? Chirping in baseball feels way louder the last 10–15 years. I don’t remember it sounding like this 20–30 years ago. Now it’s constant. Social media? H.S.? Travel ball? Everyone trying to be heard? Or was it always there—just amplified now? ⚾️

This prompts a question. I am going to Bandon in 2027. It will almost certainly be my first rounds of 2027. How should I train to be ready to walk 36 per day for 3 straight days? Should I take a caddie for every round? Any other tips to prep me?

NAIA baseball is real. If you want to be an every day guy as a freshman you better be physical and ready to go when you step on campus Fall in love with the weight room. Know the game inside and out. Watch as much baseball as you can. Play as much as you can. Be ready to compete
