Why do people on social media platforms call you a 'bestie' when talking to their followers? To be clear, I'm not your bestie. I have worked my ass off for that title with a very few select people and I don't throw that around lightly.

"You've changed." I used to think this was an insult. Now I take it as one of the highest compliments as I realize again that change is the only constant and you're right, I have changed. To change is to human.

I am needy. Said it. Meant it. As humans, we need one another by design. Why deny this to try to sound low maintenance or like we have it all together? What we actually need to be is together.

Me: I feel a change coming... Change: I'm already here.

I made the statement "I don't know" a new planet. I visit often. I sit there in an adirondack chair. I think and get uncomfortably curious. I honor the visit. And when ready, I get up and go. I had to make it a place. Somewhere I could come and go with a welcome sign. You know?

Why are we so gentle on ourselves to accept change in so many parts of our lives but not when our bodies change?
