WHY DID ONLY MAJORITY SENATORS REMAIN INSIDE THE SENATE?
Sen. Erwin Tulfo said Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano changed a planned all-member caucus on Wednesday, May 13, into a majority-only meeting, which is why minority senators had already left the premises when gunshots rang out in the Senate.

There is a high possibility he already escaped. Shots fired earlier is a diversionary tactic just like in the movies. After all, they have an action star in the premises. #ArrestBatoNow

‘KANINO BA TALAGA KAKAMPI ITONG TAO NA ‘TO?’
Former Sen. Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV did not hide his criticism of Secretary Jonvic Remulla of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) over the latter’s failure to secure Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, who on Monday was confirmed as the subject of an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

DOJ spokesperson Polo Martinez says the position of the government still stands: Under RA 9851, a suspected or arrested person in the Philippines may be surrendered to the appropriate international court or tribunal and the other mode is extradition.
The DOJ has also said that the government will await the decision of the Supreme Court on the pending petitions related to the International Criminal Court. | via @adrianayalin

BREAKING: The Department of Justice said the Philippines may surrender a suspected or arrested person to an international court or tribunal under Republic Act 9851, following a recent attempt at Senate to arrest Sen. Bato dela Rosa through a warrant of arrest from the ICC.
“Yes, same position. Under RA 9851, we may surrender a suspected or arrested person in the Philippines to the appropriate international court or tribunal. The other mode is extradition,” DOJ spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez told reporters.
This comes after National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) director Melvin Matinag said earlier they would consult the DOJ on the implementation of ICC arrest warrant. | via @chedcgatchalian, bnc.ph

Very true. Let us be responsible. Think before you click. Be picky on what to like or share. Do research to verify for facts. Read or watch from credible sources or platforms. In doing so, people like will surely not thrive.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS:
Magnificent Five Senators Kiko Pangilinan, Tito Sotto, Ping Lacson, Risa Hontiveros, and Bam Aquino introduced and filed a resolution URGING BATO DELA ROSA to voluntarily surrender.
The Resolution cites the previous examples of voluntary surrender and judicial submission by Juan Ponce Enrile, Leila De Lima, and Sonny Trillanes. (This belies Cayetano’s false claims).
It also cites that the parliamentary immunity and privilege from arrest is LIMITED to offenses punishable by not more than six (6) years of imprisonment.
Sulit ang boto ko sa mga Senador na eto!
SUMUKO KA NA BATO DELA ROSA. 👊

@mongualvez @News5PH @onenewsph @News5E Ang yabang. I’m sorry to say this but you can really tell from his actions today who is educated and who isn’t. Simple rule lang naman…ask permission to speak first and always address the SP. It’s really true…elect clowns in the Senate and you will see a circus.

Let’s bring this back.
From LORENZO LEGARDA LEVISTE’s May 2022 open letter about his mother LOREN LEGARDA’s political alliances:
‘I am in utter grief. F*** my mother for abetting this. Their crimes are her crimes now. Make her defend them.’
Reading this again habang pinapanood ang current Senate realignments at takipan/taguan ng baho hits differently. Very consistent talaga si Loren na palaging pipiliin kung saan sa tingin niya siya mas ‘personal’ na makikinabang. 😮💨
