For Christmas, I asked for a bird feeder to go outside my office window at home, thinking it would be relaxing and calming to watch the birds. Instead, I find myself transformed into my mother, irate at a jackdaw 'stealing' all the food intended for my little robin.

1/ Treating this question in good faith because I can appreciate how someone may intuitively wonder.
To begin with, no matter how large a civil service team you put together, it's not going to contain expertise on the technical detail of everything 4,000 laws cover.

Every single argument I have heard about the civil service being physically unable to go through ~4,000 laws over a period of seven months sounds incredibly Cheems. Eighteen laws a day. Surely a well resourced team can manage that?

@catmdee Look at the Assessment Regulations. Should almost certainly explain about mitigating or extenuating circumstances. May be a mitigating or extenuating circumstances policy. Also the appeals provisions.

My son had to leave mid-exam & go to hospital with extreme pain. Acute appendicitis & had surgery. Denied a re-sit as he had attempted the exam 😫#LeavingCert2022 any RTs for advice appreciated
