@PressClubAust Hollands, our Childrens Commissioner says majority of 10-13 yr olds in jail had high exposure to violence. 60% had 10 or more child protection notifications. Intensive support to keep them out of jail is the solution. Justice making for their experience is needed.

My dad just told me every time I text him his heart drops. I guess he’s just as nervous about this pregnancy as I am. I wish I hadn’t told him about Lia via text 💔 But there’s no protocol of what to do in that situation. Lesson learned. Grandparent grief is real too.

Some great announcements including funding for a pilot program to support the bereaved following Stillbirth. Perhaps more importantly the Strategy is a roadmap to improving health outcomes for Australian women across many metrics. With focus and measurement comes improvement.

This important announcement was part of the National Women’s Health Strategy. It’s a far reaching document and covers endometriosis and ovarian cancer as well as issues regarding perinatal health. This new pilot program is an exciting step forward for bereaved parents.
