"Growth at all cost"
This worked in a zero-interest-rate environment for a handful of companies. For most startups, it creates fake traction, terrible unit economics, exhausted teams, and dependence on endless fundraising. Investors now care far more about efficient growth and clear paths to profitability.

@chris_tcsc Old habits last long. It used to be the only way. Now they're are many more superior methods but there will be always be a group of people that innovate last. 🤣
English

@jacksmies That’s what I thought - but surely then people wouldn’t send so many? It’s got to be popular for a reason — and it’s not cheap either?
English

@ClimStefan Very cool. I will be following along. Maybe extract and post your lessons learned here: til.iopcap.com

I will deliver 20 MVPs in 2026.
I have a full time job, a family, and doing sports while I squeeze building and marketing.
Hard? For sure.
Impossible? Clearly not.
Will I succeed? I don´t know, but will try my best.
Each MVP launched will be in the comments.
Follow along if you want to see the full journey 👇

@facundofranco_ @rauchg Nice but why default in Spanish? At least put a language selector in. Also it it going to use an LLM as i was only able to click menus.

Soon popular opinion. Just wait and see.

Unpopular opninion: The founders obsessed with their valuation are rarely the ones building something valuable. Valuation is what someone thinks you're worth today. Value is what you've actually built. Those two are not the same.

@LexnLin @Figure_robot Both Bob and Jim seem to have problems with pink packages. Probably sexists these robots 🤣

@Prathkum Your friend needs data. Page views, conversions, a/b testing. How is his startup going?
English

AI is dangerous because it creates an illusion that makes you feel like an expert.
I recently had a chat with one of my old friends who has been building a startup. He literally sent me a 52 pages long document to review which was Claude generated. The document had feedback to improve the overall developer experience on the portal and it was full of bluff and exaggerated points.
I must say, we still need humans.

I’ve been here since 2007, 19 years.
I’m about to give up on X.
For the third time in <12 months my account is under immense algorithmic suppression. No reach. no nothing.
I get punished for being a good person on the platform.
In the past my account has been “miss labeled by grok” or “i did not do anything wrong, they did”. Stuff that’s been completely out of my control.
This time feels just the same. Nothing breaks past the great algorithmus.
I’m a premium+ user. I provide value and have posted tens of thousands of useful posts on here. Yet my account is pushed into “limbo” where posts get throttled down. Super low view count, and no clear pathway to get out of it.
For the last 2 weeks, nothing gets close to reaching you, my followers.
I’ve seen this before and I know the pattern far too well. It’s a place where many people basically throws in the towel.
There is something seriously wrong with how the reach suppression works on here.
I post daily, 3-6 times, it’s part of my routine, have been doing so for years.
You build momentum, you provide value, and the cycle repeats, until, something breaks out of your network (OON reach) then the algorithm slams you with the biggest breaks ever, throwing your account into reverse.
If @xai and @nikitabier is listening they should really think hard about why stuff like this happens to users that really want the best for this platform.
At the very least, surface insights inside of creator tools area that shows if and when something has gone wrong or happened to your account that can inform us about wrong doings or simply surfaces issues.
That way people like me that spends an unhealthy amount of time on here can better understand why I’m getting punished.
I’m extra under the weather this time.
It just zucks to be fair.

@axcilla @LinusEkenstam Unfortunately that seems to be true. If your post is about arguing or confrontation it seems to do better.

@jmwind Yep it's nice when companies embrace new tools. What agent did they use for the onboarding?
English

Joined a new AI-native company this week and it’s kind of wild how different it feels already.
The laptop arrived, I logged in, and an agent basically took over from there. It set up my dev env, pulled repos, fixed dependency issues, got permissions approved, pointed me at the backlog, linked the architecture docs, and surfaced the Slack debates I actually needed to read before touching production.
When I needed context on something, I asked the agent and it found the exact thread from months ago explaining why a decision was made, who owned it, the related Linear issues, and the PRs connected to it.
I’ve only been here 3 days but it honestly feels like I’ve worked here for a year because the usual friction and scavenger hunt for context just isn’t there anymore.
We should probably stop calling this “onboarding” and rename it to “mounting” because this feels a lot more like mounting a distributed filesystem called “institutional memory” than slowly getting drip-fed context over 6 months.

I was a bit hesitant about showing stuff like this just a month ago 😅
When we started showcasing real-time AI + SDF sculpting, I was afraid professionals would laugh if I showed no effort on the input models. The shape strength slider was also hidden in our first iteration, so I had no choice but to at least try and knock some more interesting shapes together.
Now that we're starting to focus on more powerful features and shape strength is finally unlocked, I'm starting to appreciate just playing with simple shapes.
Different stages of production have different needs. Sometimes you want full authoring over your creations, while other times you just want to quickly explore new ideas.

@simonmaechling Hi Simon. You are right. This place is full of bots but trying to make people smarter is a great mission. Let's connect on linkedin (less bots)
