@sentdefender Cool and all, but lets be honest there is no need for them to be there in regards to defending the USA - none at all. If the war is rightfully framed as an aggressor killing others for commodity, then fair enough. Standard behavior. Utterly grotesque but standard.

Tonight’s operation in Southern Iran which resulted in the successful rescue of a Weapons System Officer (WSO) onboard an American F-15E Strike Eagle downed Friday over Iran, involved hundreds of special forces troops and other military personnel, including members of the U.S. Navy’s SEAL Team Six, dozens of fighter and strike aircraft, helicopters, and cyber, space and other intelligence capabilities, officials tell The New York Times. Senior military officials described the mission to rescue the airman as “one of the most challenging and complex in the history of U.S. Special Operations” given the mountainous terrain, the airman’s injuries and Iranian forces rushing to the location in the mountains of Southern Iran. The WSO evaded Iranian forces for more than 24 hours, at one point hiking up a 7,000ft ridgeline, a senior U.S. military official said. U.S. attack aircraft dropped bombs and opened fire on Iranian convoys to keep them away from the area where the airman was hiding. As U.S. Special Forces converged on the downed airman, they fired their weapons to keep Iranian forces away from the rescue site, but did not engage in a firefight with the Iranians. In a final twist after the officer was rescued, two transport planes that would carry the commandos and the airmen to safety got stuck at a remote base in Iran. Commanders decided to fly in three new planes to extract all the U.S. military personnel and the airman, and they blew up the two disabled planes rather than have them fall into the hands of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

I just ordered a Cybertruck online. FSD will be used for my nanny to drive my children around and to keep my wife from running into things. Excited to never look back from automated driving!

@Gull_King @wholemars But it is misleading, and numerous statements that turn out to be 'overly optimistic' are a pattern of misleading statements. "1/2 of USA covered by robotaxi by end of 2025." "10,000 optimus by end of 2025." These statements, made in 2025, are simply misleading.

"But Elon said Robotaxi would cover half the U.S. population by 2026!" Let me introduce you to Elon Musk, because you must not be acquainted. Elon has been predicting that Tesla would launch Robotaxis every year for practically the last decade. He predicted a coast to coast autonomous drive in 2020. The first documented instance was in 2025, by David Moss. Getting surprised that Elon set an aggressive timeline and then missed it is like watching Jersey Shore and acting surprised every time they get drunk. You may laugh at Elon and call him a fool when he misses these goals. But zoom out and realize that there is a reason Tesla is the only automaker in U.S. running a live driverless Robotaxi service ope to the public. The reason is that Elon sets insane, aggressive targets for the company. Most companies optimize for achievable targets, because they don't want people to miss the target and have people laugh at them. But they end up still missing the achievable target and getting nowhere. If you miss an ambitious target you'll be ridiculed, but you'll likely end up further ahead than your competitors who set their sights lower. That's why Musk continues to set ambitious targets. While the rest of the market is optimizing for hitting targets, he's optimizing for winning the market. And really, people focus on his projections because Tesla is actually doing self-driving. We've conveniently forgotten about all the other automakers that promised self-driving and Robotaxis and were never able to do anything. Remember when Ford claimed that they would launch a Robotaxi service in 2021? And how when they didn't end up launching, they blamed it on the COVID pandemic? Everyone conveniently forgets about these missed targets from nearly every legacy automaker. Instead they mock the only automaker that actually launched a real Robotaxi service. Musk's aggressive targets, despite being widely criticized, are actually the reason Tesla is years ahead of every other automaker in self-driving. Many investors who don't understand Tesla may see this as eroding credibility and sell their shares, and that's okay. Those of us who have been on the Tesla ride since before the company was profitable have learned that if you're never missing any targets, they're not ambitious enough. If more companies adopted this philosophy and set more aggressive goals for themselves, I think GDP would explode.

@wholemars These aren't just 'aggressive targets' though are they? Elon's statements concerning the roll out of Optimus and Robotaxi have mislead shareholders. The market no longer believes a word he says. Elon needs to stop promising and deliver.

@YourAnonNews Utter Bullshit. There is clearly violence and extremist elements on both sides. It is exactly your kind of expressed view that is the issue - an all or nothing perspective in clear denial of evidence and facts. Unbiased realism is needed to bring people together.

The evil the USA is experiencing right now is all from the GOP. Republicans have always been evil. Evil operates off of fear and ignorance. They duped a bunch of fools, and everyone has to suffer because of the fools.

We see Elon is limiting what we have to say again. It's crazy that he promotes this as a free speech platform and only a few people are able to see what we have to say. People complain "you've got 7.5 million followers and you only get 40 RTs." Yes. That's what fucking happens when Elon and the Algorithm are actively working against you and your free speech.
