I held out a long while, but my feed is filled with posts from accounts that I don’t follow that lean against my views and I’m out. Disappointing to a degree, this was by far my favorite social outlet and the changes in the new regime aren’t for me.

@McFranchisee Appreciate the insight and understand the lightning rod of a topic this can be. ‘Championend’ may have been a weird way to word that, I just know you’ve mentioned previously that you’ve felt diversity has been prioritized, so these would seem like a rollback potentially.

I haven’t addressed the topic of DEI at McDonald’s in detail. I generally strive to keep my communication focused on factual information rather than personal opinions, especially on subjects that can be polarizing. That said, I do have a strong perspective on the matter. I did see the video by @robbystarbuck. I am in agreement with @SaraEisen, she mentioned on @SquawkStreet that Corp has had this in the works for sometime. I have noticed a trend over the last 18 months in workshops, messaging & the @McDonalds website. It’s important to note that McDonald’s has prioritized diversity for decades. In my opinion, many of the recent headlines on this issue have been both unfair and inaccurate.

@McFranchisee thoughts on the corporate DEI rollback announcement? You’ve previously championed the companies efforts, so interested in your thoughts on the situation.

A video this morning got me thinking about the first comic I ever got. So today's QUESTION OF THE DAY is, what was the first comic you ever got that made you want to read more comics? Not the best, not your favorite, the FIRST comic that made you say, "Wow, I need more of this!"

@McFranchisee @CocaCola @drpepper That makes total sense on all fronts. I can only imagine the infrastructure needs that go into play on supplying on those mandated items, especially in less serviced areas.

Great question, we only have 8 heads. We have 6 national flavors: - Coke - Diet Coke - Sprite - Fanta Orange - Orange HiC - Dr Pepper Each business unit ONLY has 2 local options to add to the national lineup. You can pick many options from @CocaCola or @drpepper brand. Below is a pic of the DP options. Coke: Coke Zero, Powerade, Fanta, Vernor’s, Barqs, Mello Yello, Light Lemonade, Fruit Punch…I’m sure there are a few others but this is on the top of my head. Zero drinks are coming on strong. Many markets tried Coke Zero about 7 yrs ago. It didn’t go well & we dropped it. Now you see most markets in the US getting back on Coke Zero due to the demand. In fact, I would say that is the #1 local option. If you only have one other option to choose, do you choose Sprite Zero or some other drink that provides more variability? I know…it’s hard. Something we have pondered for decades and still ponder today. Questions like why have two orange options, why don’t we offer a sparking water (which doesn’t count as a head), do we have a non carb/0 cal option, do you have a no caffeine/0 cal, etc. We are just limited on how many flavors we can have, which would your 2 local flavors be? Once again though, the problems with my party is they don’t have the balls to do something like this and that’s what is infuriating. They say keep fighting but what do they do to fight. Beat them at their own game!
