@RobHarris You had similar things in Sweden with lots of headlines about how fans oppose VAR. Turned out majority of football fans were in favor of the technology and think we have a very loud group of hardcore fans.

Do 75% of fans really oppose VAR?
That's the claim by the Football Supporters' Association.
But not based on scientific, random sampling polling representative of all fans.
It was through a website fans had to chose to click on which could skew to those more strongly with views

TV-nyheter: ABC & Disney fick ställa in nya säsongen av Bachelorette som skulle haft premiär i helgen efter att videos cirkulerade med henne.
Tveksam casting till att börja med (influencer, mormon, swinger, misshandelsdom) och säkert 300-400 MSEK som säsongen kostat.

@levelsio Yeah, same in Denmark where it has also been expanded from CD-RS to DVD-Rs to computer devices, i.e. laptops, phones etc. Except in Denmark it is covering legal - not illegal – copies of media content. People are no longer ripping DVDs or CDs, so it makes absolute no f.. sense.

In Portugal you pay up to €7.50 when you buy a laptop called a "copyright levy"
You pay €4/TB of storage in the computer, so for a MacBook Neo 13" with 512GB that's €2.05
It's regulation made in 1998 to compensate artists for you illegally sharing MP3 files which nowadays of course doesn't make sense anymore since we have Spotify and YouTube
Much of the money doesn't even arrive with artists btw, 30% is taken by the organization collecting the tax and lot of it remains unclaimed and some of that goes again to the organization collecting the tax as "operational costs"

@jacoblo Är inte helt säker. Läste någonstans att de faktiskt köra några motorvägar nu, men att de precis börjat. Och att de köra till flygplatsen till och med, vilket är 3 mil bort typ.

@jacoblo Allt fungerade lysande m. Långt mycket bättre än jag på att köra bil. Och eftersom jag är man är jag topp 1% av alla förare.
Den gasade till och med förbi gult! Och rundade en arbetsbil som stod och fixade något vid vägen. Den är så bra att den känns radiostyrd av en människa.
