I fell in love with basketball at the age of 3 when I first picked up a ball at my older sister @jada_henrikson’s basketball practice. Since that time I have worked tirelessly to develop my skills and shoot for my goals. One goal I finally reached was making the @MinnesotaFury UAA team this season. We had two awesome tournaments and were coming together strong as a team. However, this past weekend I suffered a setback at practice and my season came to an end due to a torn ACL. My hope was the initial testing that my ligaments were intact were correct. However, the MRI confirmed what I feared that my ACL was indeed torn. Now my basketball workouts will be put on hold in the short term and I will start attacking rehab workouts with a new goal of coming back stronger from my injury. God has blessed me with so much and I know he will continue to be with me in this season as I heal. @coach_robie @VerveBasketball @PureIntensityBB

Had fun at the @KStateWBB basketball camp today! Made some new friends and had an opportunity to compete. Thank you @JeffMittie, @KatieFalco, @hoopsbynick and the team!

@jada_henrikson after not getting a mark in discus, Jada bounces back in shot with a 12th place finish! So proud of how far she has come over the years and she leaves Farmington as the best girls thrower in school history!

Heck of a way to end his junior year. Rained from beginning of the meet to the end and @ColeBusse finished in 11th place just missing finals. Excited to see him make a run at my school record next year! Proud coach!

@ColeBusse Motto coming into the meet: PR or ER. AND THE KID CAPITALIZES. Earning a spot at the MN State meet with a 14ft PR to hit the standard and finish 2nd with a throw of 152’ 11”. Let’s see how much further we can go in a week and a half!!!

WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED! @jada_henrikson goes absolutely insane with a 2ft PR in the shot to smash the school record throwing 39’ 7.75”. Also adds another inch to the discus record going 121’2. Will have one more attempt at each at STATE!!

@jada_henrikson great bounce back meet after an ankle injury two weekends prior. Season PR 37’8 in shot and a nice throw in discus. Both throws took first at Hopkins.

We have 4 @nhssca All-Americans! Congrats to Jada Henrikson and Nikolina Opp, our first ever female athletes to get this award. And to Max Speratos and Brock Wyandt on the boys side.
