"Yesterday I adopted the oldest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.
Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had.
Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us."
From a dad who saved a soul.

The whole world should boycott the Faroes until they can show some respect for our wildlife.
I have nothing nice to say about those that participate in this vile, uneducated so called ‘tradition’. They make me sick to my stomach.

This has got to ☠️‼️F*CKING STOP‼️☠️ … Alabama is ranked in the top 5 least educated States in the USA 🇺🇸… clearly the lack of education is fueling these horrific & senseless murders… clearly education is the key to coexistence & the only way to put an end to these massacres…
❌⚠️☠️🆘🦈🆘☠️⚠️❌… @discoversharks ⚠️GRAPHIC WARNING: Last weekend, July 21-23, the 90th Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo took place in Dauphin Island, Alabama, USA where many sharks, Bulls and Tigers, were slaughtered to death in the name of nothing but entertainment.
Anglers competed in this event to catch the biggest Tiger Shark or Bull Shark possible and then simply throw them away as a piece of garbage.
The event was supported by @noaafisheries, @disealab as well as the @msstate university and the @msu_marinefisheriesecology who were there to supposedly take samples for scientific research.
Until now, we haven’t been able to find any infos on these potential researches and even if some parts of the sharks were used for research, they could have easily get samples from commercial fisheries instead of allowing and giving legitimacy to such barbaric slaughter to happen.
Hanging dead sharks under an American flag has nothing to do with science…
This event was purely made to allow a small privileged community of people to have fun killing highly fragile species, species of sharks that are vital to the survival of ocean ecosystems and that are listed as Vulnerable of extinction and Near Threatened by the IUCN.
These people and authorities allowing it happen are threatening the survival of the oceans for their own entertainment which can’t be acceptable.
Please tag @noaafisheries, @disealab, @msstate and @msu_marinefisheriesecology to let them know that THIS MUST STOP !!!

The Great hammerhead is a relatively ‘modern’ species of shark within the 500+ family. Despite this, their global IUCN redlist status is Critically Endangered. Follow us on Instagram to learn more instagram.com/savingtheblue

Why have they done this ? Please politely ask . There are hardly any Swifts here , they've flown all the way from Africa only to find the only place they ever land , and breed , netted over . They are declining . . . all they need here is compassion and a hole under the eves .

@swiftsweek please can you tell me if this is legal. Swift’s have been returning for over a hundred years to this building in Dorset @ChrisGPackham
