@colintoffelmire Lovely. I've always liked the finger notch, and I've used some of these that were crazy good cutters. Glad you went with the wa handle, the western ones can be a little rough.

oh! @jaethan, what was that band you recommended a while back - that also was great. Um that's not helpful. It was "nostalgic", and they had an instrumental only album as well as one with vocals...

Does anybody have any suggestions for good focus music? My go to is James Blake (whose music I love deeply, but I don't want to overplay) - I'm so bad at describing music. I guess I'm looking for something on the electronic spectrum, fairly ambient, but I'd prefer it have vocals.

@richburroughs I did an experiment with that stuff using just it and no soap or deodorant for a month. I had people smell me regularly and apparently I never smelt bad. @jaethan can confirm that. I believe he said I smelled a bit different but not offensive.

Netflix show idea: a misinformation expert loses sense of reality and becomes a conspiracy theorist, unable to sift wheat from chaff...reality from fiction. Has this been done in some form?

@acroll The starch in the pasta water does help with emulsification, which could increase deluxe-ity. However, IMHO, maximum deluxe-ness requires sodium citrate, which will convert the best of cheeses (Comte? Beaufort?) into the velvety sauce of your Mac & Cheese dreams.

So in the Mac & Cheese world, “deluxe” means “we added the liquids”?
