I am a constitutionalist, if people want to change the constitution through the means provided by and in the constitution I am ok with that. Even if it would be a change that I do not like. What I don't like are people trying to subvert or abolish the constitution through outside means. It doesn't matter which side they are on. The constitution is what has made this country the greatest country in the history of the Earth.

@jafaralkafar @ggreenwald @AdamGUNC Me too, but have you brought up the issue with the rest of the lot or just selective enforcement of your values? 90% of the US political systems problems are precisely that each "side" demands ethics from the other side that they refuse to abide by themselves

Unlike many members of the Trump WH and top positions in the Trump administration -- to say nothing of Trump's first wife and his third wife -- Hasan Piker was born in the US. (Also, Marco Rubio is an anchor baby).

You can make all the claims you want, but without rulings stating otherwise, your point is moot. Whereas the main point, Hasan being a communist and pushing for the abolition of many parts of the constitution stands from comments he has made that are widely recorded. Same for many federally elected politicians.

@jafaralkafar @ggreenwald @AdamGUNC Donald Trump violated the emoluments clause of the constitution the second he became president in 2017, which means anyone who supports him doesn't care at all about the constitution. Let's denaturalize and deport all of them.

It didn't take Lindsey Graham's sister very long to go from "thank you for this placeholder appointment to honor my brother until an election can be held" to "you know what? I kind of like sitting in this Senate seat. Like a lot. I think I'll stay for life, like my brother did."
