On the National Day of Remembrance of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and Action Against Islamophobia, we pay tribute to the people whose lives were cut short six years ago. We stand with their loved ones and the Muslim community. And we recommit to putting an end to Islamophobia.

3 Shia Muslims in America were just killed because they are Shia. I’m tired of Muslims erasing anti-Shiism because “it doesn’t even happen.” Every word of hate speech, false misconception about Shias, and act of exclusion perpetuates this cycle of violence and hate. Do better.
