USDA is forecasting costs will rise to an avg of $915/ac for corn & $650 for beans in 2026. CRAZY STAT OF THE DAY: 0.98 - this is the correlation between seed, chem, and fert costs and crop income! Question: Why do crop input costs rise when crop prices rise, but never fall with crop prices? See 2007-08 & 2011-12 & 2020-21. One could conclude that these companies are pricing their products based on farmer income.🤯 They take farmer profits during good years, but as you can see they never come down even as crop prices decrease. Input costs only go up ⏫

Maybe the U.S. government should get out of this line of business—so it can focus again on the few things it’s constitutionally authorized to do

See, here’s the difference between Kamala & Trump voters. We Christian Trump voters openly admit he’s not our moral exemplar. He’s not our pastor. We don’t know what his relationship with God is like. We don’t idolize him. We’re just choosing the best option on the table that we believe will help, rather than hurt, our country. Many Kamala voters who identify as Christians say absolutely insane things like this. They not only claim Kamala is a Christian, they will liken her to Jesus, arguing she embodies the beatitudes. Kamala is a horrible person, as she has demonstrated in her personal life and in the bloodthirsty policies she’s championed for decades. There is 0 indication she has any semblance of a Christian faith. When your politics drive your theology, rather than the other way around, this is what you get.

What a difference a year makes. U.S. #corn planting was quick & efficient in 2021 but has been slow in 2022. On May 1 last year, progress in top states Iowa, Illinois & Minnesota had all reached or surpassed 50%. Single digits this year - Minnesota hasn't even started.
