I think cricket lovers in England will be entitled to ask if the pitches are becoming too slow and taking some life out of the game. Each country must have pitches that create distinct challenges and I hope England go back to pitches with a bit more grass and seam and carry

@KP24 And another very imp issue, England could manage to only pick 4 wickets in 2 days on a day 4-5 pitch that had variable bounce..!! Some serious issues to look into..!!

today i learnt that it is very common for indian companies to ask for your previous pay slips while hiring. this is a filthy practice. it is invasive and it shows zero respect for candidate privacy. any company doing this deserves public shaming. stop tolerating this trash.

@absurd_random Agreed he has kept really well despite what the scorecard suggests. In the same frame Nair has done really well seeing the new ball through for us despite his mediocre scores. Expecting Jurel to do that will be unfair on both.

Dhruv Jurel has kept so well, it makes one revisit that old point of bringing him in for Nair in next test as pure keeper, and play Pant as pure 5 assuming he’s fit.

Test cricket needs to stop being governed by the clock. Instead tell both teams that, barring weather breaks, 90 overs will be played in the day with lunch after 30 and tea after 60. That would also have stopped all the trouble last night. So far 32 overs taken out. Scandalous.

When we change lanes, we need to ensure that the other vehicles don't brake, swerve or take an evasive action. This is a poor risk perception from the Nexon driver. Coming closer to other vehicles at 0 kmph is different from doing it at 90kmph !!

This video is from Mehsana. Many so-called “Xperts” will be quick to blame the disabled person for crossing the road. But how many will stop to ask why pedestrians are forced to risk their lives just to get across?

@DriveSmart_IN Preferably don’t cross from the centre of the road. There is a reason why zebra crossing is at the edge. Not particularly relevant to this case as can’t see any crossing but crossing from the corner helps..!!

What else can be done as a pedestrian to reduce risk? Slow down in built-up areas !! #IndianRoads

@DriveSmart_IN Never take your sight of the road until you have crossed it completely. Not sure if this would have helped here but keep the mobile backlight / torch on if it’s too dark to cross.
