Meet Sachin Tendulkar – the man who keeps shaping Indian cricket quietly. • He suggested MS Dhoni’s name for captaincy to the BCCI and he went on to become India’s most successful captain. • He helped Yuvraj Singh come out of a difficult mental phase, and in the 2011 World Cup he was named Player of the Tournament. • After Virat Kohli struggled during the 2014 England tour, Sachin guided him and in the very next series in Australia, Kohli scored a mountain of runs. • When Suresh Raina was going through a rough phase, Sachin called him to Mumbai, supported him and helped him regain belief in himself. Soon after Raina’s fortunes changed. • Before the 2025 England tour, he encouraged Shubman Gill. Gill went on to score 754 runs, becoming India’s highest run-scorer on that tour and surpassing Sunil Gavaskar’s 732 runs. • He called Harmanpreet Kaur before a World Cup final and told her: “Whenever you feel the game slipping away from your control, try to slow things down.” • Shafali Varma later revealed after a World Cup while she was taking POTM IN THE final that she was in constant touch with Sachin sir, who kept motivating her. Greatness is not just what you achieve. It’s what others achieve because of you. Take A Bow Master ♥️🇮🇳

@Deadlykalesh @DriveSmart_IN meanwhile the dash cam car had 2 business days to avoid punch and could have been more aware of the endless possibilities at that crossing and take a slower approach.

🚨 Udaipur, Rajasthan: Tata Punch took a cut and hit the dashcam car. Fault lies with the Punch driver, could've been avoided.

I think cricket lovers in England will be entitled to ask if the pitches are becoming too slow and taking some life out of the game. Each country must have pitches that create distinct challenges and I hope England go back to pitches with a bit more grass and seam and carry

@KP24 And another very imp issue, England could manage to only pick 4 wickets in 2 days on a day 4-5 pitch that had variable bounce..!! Some serious issues to look into..!!

And the Stokes issue should NOT distract from the batters who batted to save the Test Match! Outstanding effort and one which makes The Oval a v v important Test.

@akhileshutup What’s more ivasive is companies and employees hiding payslips. Let everything be public and transparent.

today i learnt that it is very common for indian companies to ask for your previous pay slips while hiring. this is a filthy practice. it is invasive and it shows zero respect for candidate privacy. any company doing this deserves public shaming. stop tolerating this trash.

For those of you men who are not paying attention, let me help you out here. 1) Both are married to other people 2) He will loose everything (e.g., job, kids, etc.) and possibly 65% of his net worth - before mandatory Alimony and Child Support. 3) She will get her children, and possibly 50% of her husbands net worth AND primary custody of the kids. Do you get it now?

Saaarr.. me is a petty regionalist from South India. Me not Bihari. Please don’t be racist to us. Racist : Didn’t ask, don’t care. I love how folks like her get the reality pill once in a while that your petty divisions based on region, language don’t matter to racists.

@absurd_random Agreed he has kept really well despite what the scorecard suggests. In the same frame Nair has done really well seeing the new ball through for us despite his mediocre scores. Expecting Jurel to do that will be unfair on both.

Dhruv Jurel has kept so well, it makes one revisit that old point of bringing him in for Nair in next test as pure keeper, and play Pant as pure 5 assuming he’s fit.

@IanDarke Valid but not sure how the broadcasting and advertisement is going to work around this. They are governed by the clock. Issue is also with the umpires being too lenient over this..!!

Test cricket needs to stop being governed by the clock. Instead tell both teams that, barring weather breaks, 90 overs will be played in the day with lunch after 30 and tea after 60. That would also have stopped all the trouble last night. So far 32 overs taken out. Scandalous.

When we change lanes, we need to ensure that the other vehicles don't brake, swerve or take an evasive action. This is a poor risk perception from the Nexon driver. Coming closer to other vehicles at 0 kmph is different from doing it at 90kmph !!

This video is from Mehsana. Many so-called “Xperts” will be quick to blame the disabled person for crossing the road. But how many will stop to ask why pedestrians are forced to risk their lives just to get across?

@DriveSmart_IN Preferably don’t cross from the centre of the road. There is a reason why zebra crossing is at the edge. Not particularly relevant to this case as can’t see any crossing but crossing from the corner helps..!!

@DriveSmart_IN Never take your sight of the road until you have crossed it completely. Not sure if this would have helped here but keep the mobile backlight / torch on if it’s too dark to cross.
