An excellent read for nonprofit leaders. The article mentions that nonprofits are apolitical. I disagree. Non-partisan, yes. We must be political if we’re to address the structural and systemic issues facing communities we work with and serve.

The encampment in Victoria park this morning. We have to have a frank discussion about the homelessness, addiction, mental health in the community of Kitchener-Waterloo. I don't want to have dinner cities here. Housing is basic right.
