@bushmaster80 @LowerLeagueLook lol, there are 543 English MPs. Not one of them campaigns for English independence, that’s despite telling Scotland , Wales and Northern Ireland that they are a burden to the UK economy……. Makes you think.
English

@LowerLeagueLook The daft thing is, if they’d have had the referendum asking the English whether we want Scotland to become independent, we’d have voted YES in our droves 🤣
English

@MajorGerbil @WingsScotland And yet in 116 head to heads England have won 49 times & Scotland have won 41 times. Pretty poor record for a supposed top 10 ranked team.
English

@WingsScotland It's the first time you've been in a world cup for decades. You've won one world cup game in something like 50 years.
English

@SPFL_Fitba_Fan @DeftonesSmurf91 I’m saying it’s a lot closer than the English fan who replied to you is saying. Not a bad record for a population a tenth of the size of England.
English

@jakegapper @DeftonesSmurf91 Cheers but I already knew this 🤷🏻♂️
Get out more. There is more to life than a kick about in a park 😉

@SPFL_Fitba_Fan That is literally what Stan said. I just added the dissolution part.
Where did you find the DR Congo shirt you bought?

Okay, this might stir up a hornet’s nest…
At first, I thought Scotland’s 🏴 habit of cheering for whoever England plays - even Argentina - was just banter. But now I’m not so sure. It feels like it runs much deeper.
What I find truly intriguing is how some Scottish nationalists blame English identity (and often the English people collectively) for British colonialism, while painting Scotland as its very first victim. Yet many Scots were enthusiastic participants in the empire, often serving as key figures in its ruling elite.
After the 1707 Union, Scotland’s educated middle class, military tradition, and economic pressures pushed many talented Scots into imperial service. They excelled in law, engineering, medicine, and administration. Scots comprised roughly one-third of colonial governors-general in the later Victorian/Edwardian era. They were disproportionately represented in colonial governance, the military, and civil service, making up a significant portion of governors, administrators, and officials relative to Scotland’s population.
Scots were prominent as governors in the Carribean, India, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaya, and African colonies. They also dominated roles in the East India Company and later imperial services.
Rather than acknowledging Scotland’s active role, the narrative often shifts to claims of “internalised Anglo-phobia” or some sort of Stockholm syndrome. It’s as if Scotland was forced into complicity like Django Unchained’s ‘Stephen,’ the loyal house slave who sides with the master.
The reality seems simpler. Scotland fought bravely, eventually lost, joined the winning side, and then did rather well out of the arrangement - certainly better than most of the world’s colonized peoples.
Am I wrong?

@celtic_thoughts @footyinsider247 Last time I looked Argentina were in the list for the original post! 🤷🏽
English

@longbangers Big guy. A goal every 1.5 games on average. Looks like it could be good?

@LFC_Ekitikitaka @Jennie1877 @twill_94 How do the facts disprove my original statement that it’s acceptable jostling and Anderson is too easy to go to ground? In my opinion & many others who’ve actually played the game at the highest level & aren’t English ( & a fair few who are) VAR should not have got involved.
English

@jakegapper @Jennie1877 @twill_94 You’re using opinions now because the FACTS that you posted disproved you, how about you go read the rules that you posted again and piss off
English

Confused by this Norway ‘we were robbed’ perspective…
- Haaland push = foul
- Spence penalty = favoured Norway
- missed 2 yellows for kicking ball away = favoured Norway
When you actually break it down, England got ONE decision go their way.
Norway, multiple.
Alfie Haaland@alfiehaaland
Really? Saved bye the referee. Hope you win the WC now. But feel we got robbed today.
English

@LFC_Ekitikitaka @Jennie1877 @twill_94 😂 who will read this & the original post & whose algorithms will it be targeted at? Answer, English speaking 🏴 fans. of course you’ll have more likes. Come back when you understand how this site works, you really are a puddle drinker of the lowest order aren’t you?
English

@jakegapper @Jennie1877 @twill_94 46k people SEEN your post, and 457 liked it, meaning 1 in 100 people who seen your post liked it
5700 SEEN nine, 89 liked it meaning 1 in 64 people who seen mine liked it
Mine is further down the chain, so yours seen more, again, you’re a fucking idiot
English

@LFC_Ekitikitaka @Jennie1877 @twill_94 Also heaps of Koreans, folk from the US, Spain,Italy,France & South America liking my comment, suggesting that they agree with me. I’ve not seen many (granted there are a couple) of folk outside of English football agreeing with you.
English

@LFC_Ekitikitaka @Jennie1877 @twill_94 Again not true. Berbatov, Zlatan and even Micah Richard’s have spoken out about it.
English

@Kayfabe4rh3r @SpursTipset @twill_94 Thanks for confirming that you’re a puddle drinker & your opinion therefore counts for nothing. Muted.
English

@jakegapper @SpursTipset @twill_94 Yet your examples are just anti-English bollocks, nothing to do with the rules of the game. Boring as fuck. Either clueless about football or, bitter, as said. Probably fucking both.
English

@Kayfabe4rh3r @SpursTipset @twill_94 It’s poor refereeing I’m against, unlike you I care about all teams being referee’d equally. This game was the worst example for refereeing I’ve watched so far in the tournament.

English

@jakegapper @SpursTipset @twill_94 Keep quiet ffs! You’ve been out of the tournament for weeks and you’ve all still to shut the fuck up. Whinge whinge whinge. Worst of all you actually know fuck all about the game - or just can’t look past your bias and bitterness.
English

@SpursTipset @Kayfabe4rh3r @twill_94 Let me be clear I don’t think either are fouls in the case of a corner, but by the letter of the law. Anderson commits first ‘foul’ should’ve been advantage Norway.
English

@SpursTipset @Kayfabe4rh3r @twill_94 Normal jostling in the box for disallowed goal, ref had perfect view of it, Anderson goes down far too easily. And also committed the first ‘foul’ by physically preventing Haaland getting to where he wanted to go aka obstruction, as he made the first ‘foul’ goal should’ve stood.
English

@SpursTipset @Kayfabe4rh3r @twill_94 I don’t know about you, but I don’t usually see a ball stalling in mid air before changing trajectory ( without gale force winds)
DataFut@DataFutebol
Via @MiikaArponen

@SpursTipset @Kayfabe4rh3r @twill_94 Kane being a cheating diving cunt (this isn’t even the clip I was looking for but demonstrates his penchant for a dive):- (I don’t know about you but I always hold the opposite leg to the one that’s kicked when playing football)
Undecided@SternShark
@TheDazView Turns out Harry Kane is a giant fucking pussy.
