@jzulgad It better be by game 1 of next season. Spurgeon is a zero.

@madproducer1 Disagree there Nordo 2nd period yes 3rd period was a textbook effort of protecting a 3-1 lead. Didn't sit back - stayed physical and played disciplined. The icing play with just under 4 minutes left gave Colorado an off zone faceoff. They won it clean - flipped the script.

What a goal. Felt inevitable as we've been hanging on for dear life almost since the first period.

Hughes: This one stings. Love the guys. Love the coaching staff. The whole organization. Yeah, I mean this one really stings. I just felt like we had a really good team. You get through these guys, you never know. But if we had to lose, you want to lose to these guys. These guys are the best. Presidents’ Trophy. So, yeah, it stings right now just because I feel like we had a really great team.

Positives? •They finally won a series •Kirill is now firmly in the elite (yes, even in the playoffs moneypuck.com/stats.htm) •Boldy's a star & a bargain •Appear they have GK1 for the next decade •This might've been different w/ Ek / Brodin Now somehow go find a C1.

Congratulations to Colorado they are a fantastic hockey team. Always such a bummer when the @mnwild season ends. Negative way to finish no question but truly a big step forward by this team over the course of the season. I'm excited to what is next. Cup run is coming.

@ProducerDrew_ I actually like Hynes. So much better that Deboer or Evason. Can’t believe Wild fans blaming Hynes instead of their players going into a shell.

I feel for Wild fans. No Eriksson Ek made it almost impossible for them to win that series. Yurov was basically useless in his even-strength minutes They’ll be back and probably with an even more improved roster next season. Future is bright in Minnesota #MNWild #GoAvsGo

The Wild are the first team in NHL history to have a 3+ goal lead at the first intermission of a playoff game but then have fewer than 10 shots on goal the rest of the way and end up losing.

@ryanwhitney6 @spittinchiclets Appreciate 1/3 of chiclets not draining mackinnon and the avs ball bags the entire series. You do a podcast with the definition of a bitch.

Feel brutal for Wild fans. That team was so good and you lose your best center and a stud top 4 d man against the best team in the league. Just a kick in the dick. Minnesota sports fans are pros at getting their hearts ripped out.

Immediate 2025-26 Minnesota Wild season reflection: 1. A step forward for the organization, they were damn close to the Avs despite two major injuries. 2. Jesper Wallstedt is HIM. A wealth of experience for the young stud and a lot of learning he can take with him into the offseason. No question he looks to be #1 3. Gotta feel really good about the Quinn Hughes situation. I don’t think anyone could’ve predicted how great of an impact and how unreal he was in a Wild jersey. 4. Matt Boldy, Kirill Kaprizov & Brock Faber are superstars and showed out in the playoffs. 5. The core is missing one piece (top line center), otherwise lots to be optimistic about moving forward despite the disappointment right now. 6. Still hate this playoff format. It’s dumb. P.S. Billy G if ur reading this, go get a center :) More to come on the Wild. #mnwild
