Missouri State is hiring UTEP offensive coordinator Mark Cala as OC/QB coach, a source tells @CBSSports. Cala, a 2022 @247Sports 30Under30 selection, helped develop QBs like Josh Hoover, KJ Jefferson & D’Eriq King. UTEP jumped 20 spots in PPG this year with him calling plays.
