i could watch a 2 hour keynote just about dynamic island. i hope they make a bunch of dev videos with new api.

dynamic island is one of the coolest experiences apple has shipped in a long time. reminds me of how it felt to see original iPhone UI for the first time. who worked on this? i want to know!

Do y’all thank digital assistants after they complete a task for you? I’ve found myself doing it without thinking a few times, then I felt silly. Then I thought, well, it doesn’t hurt to get into the habit… you know for later... just in case...

App Store Product Page Optimizations appear to stop automatically when a newer build is released. That is… not great. New builds can go out multiple times a week, sort of defeats the purpose of PPO if tests never get to run fully. PPO’s still brand new, would love to be wrong!

@lap_felix Ah ok, so because it was being prevented from building arm64 like it should have it built the next thing it could, which was x86, confusing everything. Make sense. Thanks again for your help, much appreciated!

@jakemarsh And it would help prevent building x86 for the simulator because it would allow you to build arm64 for the simulator.

Why does Xcode build for x86 when building for the simulator on an M1 Mac? Also hello Twitter hi hello how are you? You good? Cool.

@lap_felix So I do in fact, for simulators, but it’s the default value? Like if I select the “Excluded Architectures” and press delete, its the value that I get there, should I manually remove this? Oh and also how would this prevent from building x86? Thanks so much for your help btw!

@jakemarsh Okay then check in your project settings if you have arm64 in your excluded architectures somehow
