What a day! Today I commenced Day 1 of a Cert IV in Training and Assessment course via virtual classroom (TAFE) part time. (2 days a week) It’s early days but baby steps to slowly becoming a certified Trainer. 🙌🏼☺️ And now back to my regularly scheduled programming, Pokemon time.

Keeping my spirits up by casually remembering the superb song that is I Don’t Feel Like Dancing by Scissor Sisters, which in turn I’ve then decided to go through their entire discography + Jake Shears’ solo work, and it’s so fun and upbeat. Just what I need. 🕺

@Sidious71 I just spotted a 20th anniversary edition of their debut album and bought it online. I’ve been listening to it on Apple music and really like it. (And I love buying actual CD’s, especially if they’re special editions)

Game #4 finished for 2026; Ghost of Tsushima! Sadly took me 6 years to get back to this (I picked this up on launch day) but now I’ve finally done it and absolutely loved every second. Insanely addictive despite its repetitiveness but I couldn’t put it down. Amazing game.

Game #3 finished for 2026; Resident Evil Requiem! Had a lot of fun with this in the first half/Grace section of the game… once we hit Racoon City, truthfully, it kind of faltered a bit for me. Story was also a bit of a letdown towards the end. Enjoyed this but a tad overhyped.

Game #1 finished for 2026; Silent Hill 2 Remake! (Should I make this a thing?) Absolutely loved this. Insanely creepy and beautifully crafted. Story was intriguing and I was hooked all the way through. Combat was a little eh at times but thankfully I was loving it all the way.

I think I’m only beginning to really feel the effects of last Friday night’s ’date’, because I’ve caught myself the last couple of days getting so pissed off at the smallest of things that really shouldn’t get to me. I just feel angry, frustrated and unloved. I hate it here.

I miss writing/talking about video games. (Like when I used to do actual video game and movie reviews) I feel I need to tap back into that creative side, I’ve been feeling creative lately. Maybe I’ll make my own little review site for fun and as an outlet. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is absolutely atrocious and a deathknell for many websites Serebii should be ok as a large portion of our traffic is direct due to our reputation, but this is horrendous for all individual sites everywhere. These things scrape our sites then kill us. I see no logic to it.
