@joeljmiller That is true. However, the etemology will be an issue for those who use it. It will be long after I am dead before the etemology is not an issue, I think. And the etemology cannot change, it just might not matter over time.

Here’s the problem: The more people use the phrase this way, the more likely it takes on this meaning. Meanings are a function of usage, not rules.

@shortyman09 @PalmyrPar Same. The trouble is that I have only had 1 or maybe 2 bosses/coworkers that were any good at mentoring and even they were not trying to get me into a higher level job (a promotion). Mentoring is a lost art.

@PalmyrPar I haven't worked a single job that wouldn't have been better under this structure. I haven't used my degree once, but I had to have it if I wanted several of the jobs I've had.

It looks like the jury WAS NOT unanimous on Lisa Phillps - just 6 out of 8 signature lines appear to be filled.

Lego typically retail at roughly $0.10/piece, and certain specialty sets are even more expensive, so this is either an insanely good deal, or the pieces are going to be of lower quality. I'm really hoping it's not the latter.

The new largest Lego set (by piece count) will be Architecture's Sagrada Família, coming in at 12,060 pieces and retailing for $600 USD. La Sagrada Família in Barcelona, Spain, has been under construction since 1882, with its main structure scheduled to be completed in 2026. It will be the tallest church in the world.
