Yesterday, after departing from Minaret-e Jam, I fell off my motorcycle and it hit my leg badly near the ankle. I had no choice but to keep riding in such a remote area for about 40 km. After some time, it became difficult to use my leg for braking and control. I managed to find a minivan, loaded the bike into it, and continued towards Herat city near the Iran border. Today, I got an X-ray Alhamdulillah, there’s no fracture, although the pain felt like one. Today is a rest day. Let’s see if I can complete the northern route from Herat to Mazar-e-Sharif on two wheels or not. #Afghanistan
