Even that delay was 100% on the R&A. If they were unsure about Bryson playing, a simple solution would be arranging a playing marker to play with Sam Burns, in the place of DeChambeau, at the original tee time, which would have prevented any delay in getting the tee times out to players. Instead, the R&A chose to be performative...

Ts and Ps go out to Penge who was up painstakingly late (11:00pm) awaiting the conclusion of the Bryson situation so that he could find out if he was teeing off at 10:45 or 10:55.
Really must have taken a toll.

But today’s comments about Bryson were pathetic. Saying he’s “not particularly fond of him” and labeling his hard work “performative” and “designed for attention” reveals a petty, bitter side that has no place in this game.

Any Arsenal fan watching this England match and still losing their head over the club not paying £120m for Morgan Rogers needs to get their head checked.
Even £90m would have been a massive overpay for him. His fundamentals are still too lacking to command a fee anywhere near that.
