People in Tokyo were woken at around 6.30am today by a loud smartphone quake alarm, but no shaking, as a magnitude-5.9 jolt hit the Ishikawa region.
A JMA official said its warning system mistakenly estimated the quake's strength at mag 6.5, then 7.4, and they will analyse why.

Please don't ask me to write about 4B. It's a fringe movement rather than mainstream. It's so easy to think of these headlines "Korea has low birthrate due to the 4B movement". Nothing against people who adhere to 4B. But it's a minority. According to TikTok, it's everyone.
