We passed a clean, nonpartisan bill to keep the government open — just 24 pages long, a good-faith effort to give Congress seven more weeks to finish appropriations. Schumer voted for the same thing 13 TIMES under President Biden and for 30 years has supported keeping the government operational. Now he’s blocking it to appease his far-left base.
