It’s mad when you think about it how many players could be playing their last game for Chelsea today. Feels like there’s going to be a rebuild of the rebuild which was never finished. For at least ten players I think their Chelsea careers are over after today.

Just a deeply unserious team. Pre agreed deals for Sarr, Barco, Emegha, Quenda. All not good enough to start for Chelsea. And even worse they’ll occupy space, providing an opportunity cost to signing level raisers. So so disappointing

I’m struggling to see the point of the Barco signing. Doesn’t address anything we need in midfield, and I don’t feel he’s much better, if better than Santos or Lavia. Under no circumstances can he be the potential Enzo Fernandez replacement. Perhaps an option at LWB?

If it doesn’t work out for Alonso at Chelsea, it shouldn’t come as a surprise because the idea of him celebrating a Chelsea goal at Stamford Bridge is so weird. He’s already the ex Liverpool player in the minds of plenty in that stadium and he doesn’t have a strong personality.

What is it with Chelsea? Organised, committed, focused and dominant at Wembley. Disorganised and distracted in their next game. Are Chelsea players focusing on the FA Cup final? And/or the World Cup? Once again, the question is where are the leaders? Their best player was Jesse Derry and he, sadly, suffered a worrying injury and has been taken off. Derry was making his debut, and giving everything. Too few of his team-mates seemed up for the challenge of facing a weakened Forest. Once again, the question revolves around recruitment? Are they bringing in good characters as well as good players? Chelsea fans understandably angry with attitude of some players and the culture of their club under Clearlake. #CFC #CHENFO
