Did you know the Mayor of NY City makes more money than:
1. Zohran Mamdani $258,750
2. Marco Rubio (Secretary of State) $250,600
3. Pete Hegseth (Secretary of Defense) $250,600
4. Scott Bessent (Secretary of the Treasury)
$250,600
5. J.D. Vance (Vice President) $235,000
Here’s the kicker. Mamdani’s self appointed committee is asking for an 18.2% raise for Mamdani and his elected officials.
His new salary would be $305,800.
Even a democratic socialist is a deep down capitalist. The guy loves giving himself a raise with tax payers money.

Their objective is to replace our secular government, I don't think so. Islam was a means of control under Caliphates, created for control.
Alexander Duncan@AlexDuncanTX
This is Islam: “There are not enough Muslims in America right now to demand full Sharia law and replace its secular system. We have to gain political power first and implement it little by little.”

Let's not lose our grip on the facts - instead of recriminations and accusations - just the facts.
1) Congressman @RoKhanna was offered to coordinate his visit with the State of Israel - this goes beyond notifying of his presence in the country. He was offered in-depth coordination of his schedule to avoid misunderstandings, and he chose to ignore that offer.
He also chose not to coordinate his visit with the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem.
2) He chose to conduct his visit accompanied by Palestinian activists, and, for some reason, @nytimes journalists with cameras at the ready. With him was also a person affiliated with @jstreet, an organization that actively lobbies against the government of Israel on Capitol Hill.
3) Mr. Khanna and his entourage entered what was believed to be a closed military zone without permission. The military had no prior knowledge of him going there, due to his refusal to coordinate with them. The vehicle they stopped was unknown to them and therefore provoked suspicion. The moment details of the Congressman's identity were cleared, he was free to go. At no point was the congressman, or any member of his party, threatened by the soldiers, or civilians bearing arms.
4) To add insult to injury - the Congressman used this instance as an opportunity to tout "genocide" and "apartheid" libels to the press, propelling himself to the center of yet another anti-Israel media frenzy.
The facts don't lie - this was a cheap, anticipated provocation, that could, and should have been avoided.
5) Calling me a liar won’t change the facts. I’d be happy to host Congressman Khanna at our embassy for an in-depth conversation on his grievances regarding Israel.

Gavin Newsom just signed legislation to allow your sales tax to spike to 11.25%! CA Democrats caused our cost-of-living crisis, and only YOU can stop them! Join the fight to pass Prop 43 to block the 11.25% sales tax in your area: OpposeTaxHikes.org

This couple went on a date night in Scottsdale Arizona. They went to a restaurant, and then went to a club afterwards. while standing in line to get into the club two Hispanic women walk up to them telling the wife that they can’t get in, and asking her if she spoke Spanish. She replies I’m sorry I don’t.. they proceeded to grab her by her hair and throw her to the ground at which point her husband steps in and is trying to get them off of his wife while three other dudes come up and start beating the crap out of him. This is in front of a line full of people, and bouncers. Nobody stepped in to help them.
This shit has to stop or this country is going to be in full out Civil War!

WOW 🚨 The budget that California Democrats forced through contains “$13 BILLION for free taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants”
- Also another $1 billion for Gavin Newsom’s high speed rail PER YEAR through 2045
- “A bunch of their political donors are receiving no-bid contracts”
- Another gas tax increase
- And more
The money laundering NEVER stops
Not only that they’re shutting down a prison and releasing more prisoners
“This is Governor Gavin Newsom's boondoggle budget that Democrats just rubber-stamped — They're spending more than they're bringing in. They're raiding reserves, and where's the money going? Oh no, not to the basic core services for citizens. No, $13 billion for free taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants.
— These people are insane. Sticking the bill to citizens while giving freebies out to illegal immigrants”
You can’t even vote them out because the elections are so rigged in California

@Scottharve95172 @Patience123 @BrettErickson28 Firing at ships is not controlling it, they have no internationally recognized authority other than around Larak Island near their shore.

There is simply no justification for the United States pushing through vessels along the Omani coastline in the Strait of Hormuz. You can cry and scream about "freedom of navigation", but at the end of the day, the Memorandum of Understanding was very clear that Iran would control the traffic through the Strait of Hormuz during the initial 60-day window.
Time and time again, the United States has shredded the MOU by attempting to retroactively alter the terms because they didn't "like them". Of course you didn't like them. They suck... because you LOST.
Oil sanction waivers a la Article 10? Torched.
No new sanctions a la Article 9? Blown up.
Iranian administration of traffic a la Article 5? Nope.
You can whine all day long about how it's "wrong" for Iran to strike those vessels, but this is a rational response to a war of choice from the United States. You don't get to claim "right vs. wrong" when the Trump Administration is solely to blame for this situation in the first place. The Strait of Hormuz was open before this war started.
The REASON that the United States was attempting an Operation Freedom 2.0 along the Omani Route was BECAUSE they were trying to actively undermine the Iranian control of the Strait. They were trying to actively push through enough vessels in a short enough period of time to shift the strategic landscape of the conflict.
I have seen time and time again people claim, "Iran doesn't know what's best for them. If they just didn't strike vessels, they would get massive sanctions relief"... No, they wouldn't. Because President Trump and the United States had no INTENTION of sticking to the MOU. The goal was to use this 60-day window to shift the landscape so that they could topple the regime or secure outcomes they could not have in the initial MOU.
This isn't "the US operating in good faith and those pesky Iranians messed everything up".
This is the United States blatantly trying to unilaterally alter the terms of the MOU by shredded the oil waivers, sanctioning new entities, and pushing vessels through the Omani Route.

@Patience123 @BrettErickson28 The Strait of Hormuz overlaps Iran's and Oman's 12-nautical-mile territorial seas but qualifies as an international strait under customary law, granting rights of transit passage or innocent passage that coastal states cannot suspend.
