@miniboro_dotcom @Boro @ErreaOfficial I’m all for the band being reserved for a ‘new/old/updated’ badge. Sponsor underneath though imo. There was a tab on the side seam of the 96 shirts that said ‘boro’ and I’d like to see that return with ‘Emirus’ on it. An alternate ‘DL’ tab would be decent though.

Okay hear me out on this one... what if @Boro and @ErreaOfficial used the Sampdoria tradition of reserving the band exclusively for the badge, with the sponsor above it? The badge switch would then free up space which could be used to honour Dorman Long via their own crest? #UtB

@miniboro_dotcom I’d love a home shirt with the band wrapping around the whole shirt. I don’t think the EFL wouldn’t allow it but a limited edition fan version (with optional black numbers) would defo sell like hot cakes.

Doing quite a bit of Boro badge wrangling while we await the new kit, trying to put my finger on the bits that do and dont work. The lion's stance for instance, and how for me (even though its the same) it seems different in the roundel when compared with the shield etc #UtB

@untypicalboro @miniboro_dotcom It’s possible to keep the lion from the last two badges as a starting point and still improve on what we have. Weather that’s a shield or a combination is where the complexity come in. Personally, I’d focus first on future proofing a lion that is completely ownable to us.
