@jamesgaiger @theanalyst I’ve not been to a pro game with a pink ball, and I’m not colour blind, but at kids cricket the pink ball seems very easy to pick up. I don’t know of any scientific reason why pink should be harder to see than red, to a colour blind person but 🤷

here's an important reply... Gary Gower
Thanks Simon for the eminently sensible suggestion. I certainly think it worth a try. Personally speaking having paid £100 a day for two days and seen a meagre 114 overs, I’m afraid it’s high time the issue was addressed. It’s absurd that the refund rules cut off at 30 overs ! I feel thoroughly cheated. I will seriously need to reconsider my willingness to purchase match tickets this late in the year.

The OBVIOUS solution to this bad-light fiasco. Please read and give me your feedback.. #cricket #saveTests thetimes.com/sport/cricket/…

@saintlymark @theanalyst In my experience, pink is harder for colour blind people. Perhaps as lighter?
English

@jamesgaiger @theanalyst That’s a fair comment, but a red ball can be difficult to pick up in good light as well.
English

@theanalyst @saintlymark Lots of colour blind people find pink ball
much harder to see regardless of light. Appreciate that’s a minority but worth a thought.
English

@GavinCurnow Well, it’s a good question. I often wonder if, when under pressure, I should think correctly or
incorrectly? I just don’t know.
English

Yes that's all very good but can we have more of Mark Pougatch asking Clive Woodward what would he say to a changing room at halftime please

Amazing insight from @bernardjackman Up to date. Insightful and doing the hardest bit, delivering it on tv live without, missing a beat. One of the very best pundits in the world. @RTEsport

@GavinCurnow Can you open this without paying the Tory Party press department anything?

@DanNethercott @GavinCurnow Well, I was genuinely confused. Each time

Some of the decisions I saw in today's game appeared ridiculously weighted against Australia

That’s criminal from the ref in Australia v All Blacks. Six seconds is hardly a delay. Costs Australia the match. #rugby
English

@DanNethercott @GavinCurnow Exactly. If no warning was given I’d agree it was harsh (it is unusual to be fair) Look at the rest of the backs- they clearly see the need to get moving!
English

@DorsetWiltsRFU Amazing a plan was not in place. Sad as it is, her death was inevitable.
English

@eon_next You didn’t turn up to fit my smart meters and didnt bother to tell me. I had to take a day of work. How do I invoice you for my lost wages? Thanks

@Scott3915Scott @DorsetWiltsRFU To be clear, the main thing at the clubs has to be supporting DW disciplinary and that’s what our overriding aim will be this season. I don’t wish to dispute your quite correct action, just hope others follow.
English

@jamesgaiger @DorsetWiltsRFU No issue if players/coaches and spectators don’t abuse MOs! Natural law is being followed same as any tribunal where you can aggregate and mitigate after entry point.
English

@Scott3915Scott @DorsetWiltsRFU Of course, and I wholeheartedly support what you are trying to do. You are adding on two weeks for all of these type of offences. Others are not. Two players with same history in the same game could commit the same offence and get different bans. Fair?
