@curiosityonx No computer on 1903. In 1969 the could send a fax about the landing or show it on TV. Today my watch is a more powerful computer than they had on Apollo and I can watch rocket launches on my phone

It feels like people do not fully understand how much life changed for our species between 1900 and 2000. I still struggle to comprehend it. These events are 66 years apart.

@Jcheunginhin I like the irony of where you were headed. It would have been interesting to talk to them on the way home and listen to the bias that they included in justifying being in your seat.

@sponsorshipguru @elonmusk I have voted in multiple elections and never had to show any ID. I just voted, bought a democracy sausage and went on my way.

@elonmusk Simply showing ID to show you are eligible to vote is common sense. Both in the UK and Australia require it. I have never voted without proving I am eligible. It seems only sensible

@jumanabayeh @missrobinson Reading some of the comments to this post would suggest you are right and I wish it wasn't so. But when these women speak some of us, who are very western in our outlook do hear them and without them we would only hear post if the story. So I hope they keep speaking up.

It's been a busy night and day for emergency services across NSW, with heavy rainfall and damaging winds impacting much of the state's east coast. RFS volunteers continue to assist the NSW SES respond to fallen trees, downed powerlines, flood rescue and clean up.
