The latest leak is that Burnham is planning a new levy on income, charged at 1.8% of earnings above £6,240 and paid by workers over the age of 34, in order to finance a new so-called national care service. This is an increase in income tax in all but name and clearly would breach Labour's manifesto commitments. It's truly amazing that Burnham has concluded that despite excessive levels of tax and spending, what the country needs is yet more tax and spending.

You should give it a go, even if it’s just with a single section. You can point Claude at elements on the page and ask the agent to make changes. You don’t really need to understand or read the code. I still bounceh between Figma and Claude. What I’ve found is that once things are actually working and you can interact with them, it sparks ideas that a static design never would. You start noticing opportunities you’d probably never have thought of in Figma.

@jamesm I need to finally give it a try. I’ve always preferred a canvas solution like Framer where I can visually make changes on the fly without touching the code but your use of Claude has been very inspiring!

Dumbfounded by the sudden positive reaction to this. People seem to like the fun aspect of “the cave” aka hobbies page with its bookshelf and everything. I kept hearing “remove everything unnecessary until only the essentials remain” but this page is a great opportunity to introduce some personality and show sides of me that may not be super relevant for work but ones that can still expand my character and enrich someone’s outlook on who I am.
