@AirCanada How can my Saturday flight be "on time" when it's set to depart 12 hours after you lock out flight attendants? Will you answer my DMs? Pick up the phone? Anything?

To address ongoing labour uncertainty following strike notice by CUPE, Air Canada’s flight attendant union, a lock out notice was issued to CUPE today, effective Aug. 16. We will begin implementing our contingency plan to gradually begin an orderly wind down of operations.

The Bloc's OAS increase proposal is poorly targeted and too expensive. We don't need to pit generations against one another and should focus help on seniors in real need.

In this first clip from our National Finance Committee, I question officials from Fisheries and Oceans Canada about their commitment to reduce spending by over $300 million in the next three years and how this cost-saving exercise might impact the department’s level of service. DFO hopes to achieve major savings by reducing travel and relying less on professional services and consultants, and by leveraging efficiencies and internal management. ******** Les mois de mai et de juin ont été assez mouvementés pour moi en tant que parrain du projet de loi budgétaire au Sénat.
