It's understandable that some people are feeling upset about an event that took place in our company two decades ago. At that time, I wasn't part of VGP, and the manager who oversaw the employee dismissal is no longer with us. We're not here to judge whether what happened was right or wrong; and we're sure not proud of it. We're simply sharing a part of our nearly 40-year journey in retail. Our company now has a complete HR department and takes every measure to ensure our employees are treated properly. While we can't go back and alter the past, we always learn from it, but we also won't shy away from it. We're not your average retailer; whether good or bad, we approach things differently. We'll keep sharing stories from our history.
