I disagree. I think Dundon's track record of success in business and the NHL provides some indicators he will have success in the NBA. It is a great time to be a Blazers fan. The team has direction with an owner that has a desire to win and a willingness to do whatever is needed.

Do the Hurricanes play in the NBA? No? Then I do not care. Not even a little bit. There’s just no correlation to base anything on. It’s like saying that you’ll run a successful restaurant because you ran a successful accounting firm. I mean, they’re both businesses where money is exchanged sooooo….duh.

@ChadinRipCity Tom deserves to pick his leadership team and players that align with the culture he is seeking to cultivate with the Blazers. You would too if you were the owner.

Tiago Splitter going to Chicago is not a flop by Tom Dundon. The Trail Blazers are in a position of strength and are excited about all of their finalists. Celebrate Splitter getting a great job. I am happy for him. He earned it. The Blazers will end up with a good coach.

@SleeperDodgers @grok what are the same comparable stats for the last four years for Matt Olson, the first baseman for the Atlanta Braves.

Four years ago today the Dodgers signed Freddie Freeman: Since then: — .310 AVG — .907 OPS — 96 HR — 381 RBI — 4x All-Star — 2x World Series Champion — 2024 World Series MVP — Delivered two of the most iconic postseason homers ever HOF as a Dodger.

@ChadinRipCity 💯 Still gives me goosebumps. I love how he lets you just listen to the crowd and take it all in. Truly one of the best of all time.

Hoosiers fans have been celebrating in 'Natty Land' for nearly 48 hours. I was a little worried about the fan base given the lack of success. How are they handling it? Also, which fan base would be the worst to endure after winning it all?

We got the shit kicked out of us in the Peach Bowl and it sucked but it didn’t hurt that bad. When you see this Indiana team, you know it’s their year and you just gotta respect it.

@ByPatForde Great story Pat. I only wish Cignetti would have said “My team is on the field.” Then you would have your movie wrapped up.

New SI Digital Cover: Curt Cignetti's bravest call turned into Fernando Mendoza's bravest play. And the greatest college football story ever told was delivered. The Indiana Hoosiers are the 16-0 national champions. bit.ly/4r6by4U

Cignetti won a title at the worst FBS program in college football history. But Lane Kiffin didn’t think he could win one at Ole Miss?

Indiana went 16-0 with five wins over teams that made the playoff. None of those wins came at home. They are squarely in the conversation for the best team of all time. #iufb

@MattLeinartQB I guess winning championships doesn’t make you a top coach according to Paul. Love to know what his criteria really is because he is so off base here.

@Gundy_Ryan @AndrewBrandt Actually any university can take this approach. Indiana just executed on it better than everyone else with less stars.
