@SpaceWuffHusky @foxtrot_j If you are going to build once-in-forever infrastructure, and we should, then put it in the right place. In 50 years, people would roll their eyes, rightfully. Don’t take up half of Barbur. Stations under Ohsu and hillsdale, and directly to PCC (and extend to Tualatin or further)

@foxtrot_j I wished they hadn't cheaped out on building tunnel sections to OHSU and PCC Sylvania into the proposal. As I know people complained and ripped Trimet hard about the route avoiding the most popular destinations along the route that would justify the ridership and cost of it.

@CFBRep 7 of the 10 games involve former #Pac12 teams. Surprised? Not really. Seems like the collective image and quality of the programs in the onetime conference of champions is actually pretty good. Pity about the TV overlords

This Colorado team is the exact same as last year. Poorly coached, undisciplined, a defense that won’t be able to hold up to FBS offenses, and an injury to Travis or Shadeur away from being a 1 or 2 win team. Bowl eligibility would be a miracle for them this season

@JWMediaDC Given the academic importance to the PAC members, but also acknowledging importance of TV markets, I could see something like: Stanford, Cal, Oregon State, WSU, SDSU, UNLV (with a pledge to boost academic profile), CSU, Air Force, SMU, Tulane, Rice, plus Zags for bball

On the PAC4 front nothing has changed. ACC despite ND's urging -not enough votes to add Cal & Stanford. The American will take all four, the Mountain wants a merger or partnership.Meanwhile, rebuilding the PAC or going it alone for Stanford remains on the table.

@JamesCrepea The people openly rooting for the fragmentation of the pac now want to make it seem like it’s ok because traditional rivalries will supposedly keep happening. Sure they will.

Why is everyone assuming the Apple Cup and Oregon-Oregon State games will stop? First off, the B1G doesn't allow FCS games. UO suddenly has 5 openings from 2024-28 and H&H with Michigan State and Ohio State opening up. UW has 4 FCS games going away and a Michigan game.
