It's worth noting that GOLD/BTC chart has broken a 176 month downtrend, and has since been in a 12 month uptrend against BTC. Central banks worldwide are accumulating gold at its peak level in 100 years, according to Barchart. Gold remains a favored safeguard against inflation, weakening currencies, and geopolitical tensions. Picking up gold at support between $3000-3300 per ounce may not be such a bad idea for the long term.
