@ProRecoil The point was that it was hard to get this type of team, and it was always something to look forward to or hope for. Nowadays it’s easy to get a team much better than this, and so interest dies much quicker

@_th3halfspace Is it really that deep though? Were any of Brighton’s players limited in their creativity or autonomy? I thought midfielders like MacAllister and Caicedo became better players as a result of his coaching. Did they really lose any carrying ability or decision making skills etc. ?

giving out sequential parameters within his strict framework will be a short-term benefit, but the ceiling raising development for RDZ will be how much he can introduce player autonomy within that structure. Will be difficult considering his poor OOP coaching but not impossible.

@tmzette To be fair he was going to be City’s number 1 until the Donnarumma opportunity came along. I do think our game against them in matchday 2 where he didn’t look great on both our goals also played a part in that decision
