The Indus water will continue to flow due to gravity to Pakistan, since India has no storage structures on its tributaries Jhelum, Indus and Chenab to prevent the flow to downstream. In nutshell, freezing a treaty doesn't alter gravity flow 😎

The Chenab Beas Link Tunnel Project proposed by NHPC is a good project benefiting the States of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. But, the larger political narrative that Pakistan will suffer is misleading. Because, the mean yield of Chandra and Bhaga unto confluence with Chenab is only about 1.43 MAF. However, the total mean yield of Chenab upto international border is 26.2 MAF.#IndusTreaty
