Anyone thinking Town were going to say anything other than they are Apolitical was dreaming. There is a chance Reform will be in charge of Ipswich Borough Council and Town are wanting expand Portman Road on land owned by Ipswich Borough Council. It was still a PR disaster. #itfc

I was with Ipswich Town for 13 years and I don’t remember a single politician ever being hosted by the club.
#ITFC can’t say they are proud to be inclusive,diverse and welcoming then host someone that is completely against those values?

This is also incredibly short-sighted commercially. How do our major sponsors like @MSC_Cruises_UK, @HaloITSM & @edsheeran view this? Brands want inclusive partners, not political controversy. We are risking our long-term image by allowing this to happen.

@IpswichTown & Mark Ashton, it’s appalling that Nigel Farage is allowed to blatantly use our club’s image as a personal PR tool. ITFC is a community club built on inclusivity. Sir Bobby Robson would be horrified by this association. This isn't what we stand for.
