Mr. President, you have achieved our ultimate objective of re-recognition in less than a year in office. You have elevated Somaliland from irrelevance to a position of central strategic importance in the region transforming it into one of the most consequential actors on the Horn of Africa’s geopolitical stage.
There are already indications that further recognition is on the horizon. As the first to secure re-recognition, you have set a historic precedent, and there is little doubt you will continue this trajectory into a second term, inshallah.
