Didn’t realize this happened because I was losing my goddamn mind over *gestures to the CFP*. But what an earned moment for Bryce Bohanon. Called the player-led meeting this week that was the difference maker in Tulane’s win tonight.

Just published in @AJPMRjournal from my friend Ryan Kruse at Iowa. PPP injections for acute quad and hamstring muscle injuries lead to significantly faster return to play compared to #PRP. 22.9 days faster.

#USdeafMNT player Tristan Torbett fell asleep on his way to a World Cup. He awoke to a medical emergency. But a quick-acting team medical staff, and a ‘miracle’ medical procedure saved his life.

@jami11 @DrAhmedIElsayed Yes. Our surgeons will operate sooner after a ketorolac injection vs steroid. Ketorolac does not come with the same increased risk of infection. This applies for joints as well as subacromial injections for rotator cuff pathology.

A reminder that corticosteroid injections are far from benign. We see here deleterious effects with a single high dose injection and multiple injections. Is it time we start considering ketorolac as our primary anti inflammatory injectate for joints?

40 yo M w/ Hyperacusis seen for bilateral (EMG & US confirmed) #carpaltunnel. Symptoms ⬆️ severely after CT CSI (dexamethasone) & hydrodissection (lido + NS). Per systematic review, & clinical experience, haven’t seen this response before. Recs? Hesitant to release.
