Today I was fired from Coinbase. I was responsible for the merchant integration suite that doesn’t support Bitcoin or Bitcoin Lightning.

@Airbtconline It’s wild. So many businesses use their “crypto checkout” and think they are all set.

@JamieRobinson Your profile page is completely bogus. Bitcoin was created on January 3, 2009, not 2013 as your profile claims. Stop spamming with automated replies.

@Martez305 It feels like the trolls have grown huge in numbers in the last 30-60 days. Doesn’t feel organic.

She's not talking about the average Salvadoran. She's talking to the gringos who want to move to El Salvador. These hateful Salvadorans are always trying to find the fifth leg on the cat and think they're smart. 🤡

The last time I ever bought a plane ticket from Expedia (2025) they let me pick my seat on a fantasy seat map. Actual seat was assigned at random 🫠
Vivek Wadhwa@wadhwa

@vyasad @emirates Expedia is a good online agency. Need to shop for fares. Nothing justifies behavior of check-in staff regardless

Bitcoin Berlín turns 3 today. 🎂🥳⚡ Three years ago this was an idea. Today you can walk into Berlín, El Salvador without a single dollar and live your whole day in Bitcoin. Coffee, food, transport, groceries, your phone bill. All of it. What once was a dream is now a reality. Three years of building this quietly, consistently and with a community that believed before there was anything to show. More to come. 🧡🇸🇻 Thank you for being part of it. If you are nearby, come celebrate with us tonight.

Having our son in El Salvador was so relaxing. We got an itemized bill (very low) with all these 60 and 70 cent charges for every product before we left. The new First World.
Riley Gaines@Riley_Gaines_

It's been 7 months since we had our baby and we're still receiving unexplained hospital bills in the mail. Hardly ever an adequate description of services. Just a QR code to pay online. It feels intentionally confusing and difficult to get answers. We want price transparency.

@Martez305 @MacOnChain @Bymoonhunter @beefinitiative @JethroToro Private garbage companies will pickup anything large for $ and I do see more bins in the city. Rural is a challenge! I still dream of a per-gram-plastic deposit and a one time subsidy on all existing plastic to get it started so there’s an incentive to put it in the right hole

Europe has its problems, but I have to say, I am proud of Ireland with how clean we keep it I would love to see El Salvador this clean I clean the beach in Playa Las Tunas every weekend with @Bymoonhunter Dont litter. It has to stop to save the environment, flora, and fauna!
Jorge Manzanares 🇸🇻@JorgeManzaSV

El Gobierno del Presidente @nayibbukele ha colocado riobardas en los ríos de El Salvador para evitar que miles de toneladas de plástico lleguen al mar. Pero esto no es solo tarea del Gobierno: cuidar el país es responsabilidad de todos. No tires basura. 🇸🇻🙏🏻

If this is real, it’s time for legacy media arrests. They are the weapon.

NEW: The manifesto for alleged White House Correspondents’ Dinner gunman Cole Allen has been released. In the manifesto, Allen mocked Secret Service for being "incompetent" and for the poor security at the hotel. Here is the manifesto, in part, per the New York Post: "Hello everybody! So I may have given a lot of people a surprise today. Let me start off by apologizing to everyone whose trust I abused. ... On to why I did any of this: I am a citizen of the United States of America. What my representatives do reflects on me. And I am no longer willing to permit a ped*phile, rap*st, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes. ... Administration officials (not including Mr. Patel): they are targets, prioritized from highest-ranking to lowest Secret Service: they are targets only if necessary, and to be incapacitated non-lethally if possible (aka, I hope they’re wearing body armor because center mass with shotguns messes up people who *aren’t* Hotel Security: not targets if at all possible (aka unless they shoot at me) ... Rebuttals to objections: Objection 1: As a Christian, you should turn the other cheek. Rebuttal: Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I’m not the person raped in a detention camp. I’m not the fisherman executed without trial. I’m not a schoolkid blown up or a child starved or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. ... Thank you all for everything. Sincerely, Cole “coldForce” “Friendly Federal Assassin” Allen PS: Ok now that all the sappy stuff is done, what the hell is the Secret Service doing? Sorry, gonna rant a bit here and drop the formal tone. Like, I expected security cameras at every bend, bugged hotel rooms, armed agents every 10 feet, metal detectors out the wazoo. What I got (who knows, maybe they’re pranking me!) is nothing. No damn security. Not in transport. Not in the hotel. Not in the event. Like, the one thing that I immediately noticed walking into the hotel is the sense of arrogance. I walk in with multiple weapons and not a single person there considers the possibility that I could be a threat. The security at the event is all outside, focused on protestors and current arrivals, because apparently no one thought about what happens if someone checks in the day before. ... Video: @AsraNomani

Question for frequent travelers… When you arrive in the U.S. from an international flight, and you need to catch a connection… Do you ALWAYS have to go back through security after going through customs? Or is the Dallas airport uniquely terrible in its inefficiency? Anyway, see you soon Las Vegas ✈️
