Most startups fail because of cofounder conflict. Two otherwise smart people, find it hard to leave their egos aside and do what is right for the company because of some perceived sense of self-importance. Usually this is over who should be the CEO or who should be doing media interviews. I too had a fall out with my cofounder during my startup days. At the depths of the fallout, A lifelong mentor gave us what is still one of the harshest but best, pieces of advice I have ever heard : “Tum dono bikhari ek katore ke upar lad rahe ho”
