You might notice a change in my profile...I've been promoted to the role of Museum Education Specialist @uscapitol! I'm so excited to begin this new adventure. My passion for this building and its history runs deep, and I am looking forward to continuing my journey here.

Last month, I graduated with my MA in history with a certificate in public history from @UMassAmherst. I am proud to say that I received departmental honors for my portfolio, titled "Legacies of Movement: A Presentation of Fields." So thankful for @umassph and all it gave me! 🎓

I am so proud to say that I passed my tour guide certification @uscapitol. In the past two days alone, I gave tours to over 200 people, and we're just getting started! I can't wait to see where this next chapter takes me!

I am excited to say that after a wonderful first month @uscapitol, I will be transitioning to a position as a Visitor Guide. I have been itching to give tours since I started learning the incredible history here - I can't wait!

I truly do not have the words to express how awe-inspiring this painting was. Pictures cannot do justice! It is larger than life, and I have a new appreciation for its mastery after seeing it up close.

Today, I got to take a dome tour of the Capitol building! It was incredible to see the Apotheosis up close and learn more about the building's construction.

I am having an incredible first week @uscapitol. I cannot wait to help visitors as they explore such an inspiring and historic building!

I am excited to say that this month, I am moving to Washington, D.C., where I will be a Visitor Services Assistant @uscapitol. I am so excited to jump-start my career as I complete my MA degree remotely!
