#boom it’s a god awful ride but a very easy win 2.40 Haydock RISKINTHEGROUND 4/1 1pt win With Cheltenham abandoned, Haydock have taken their card and given that the two courses couldn't be more different, comparing past races to this one today may not be the most reliable. However, RISKINTHEGROUND won this race last year and is arguably more suited to the demands of this quick flat track than he would have been that day at Cheltenham, with the majority of his wins and places coming on flatter tracks. Since winning first time out, he has been absolutely garbage all season, beaten miles every time he's raced. However, 5 of those 6 races came in Grade 2 and 3 races, which he has no business being in, and the other saw him sent off at 100/1. Given that Dan Skelton is the best target trainer around, it's more than likely that he's been working back from this day all season and the horse lines up here rated 1lb lower than for his win in this race last year. Quick ground is perfect and he can be ridden any way
