⚠️ Ekubo exploited ⚠️ Earlier today, @EkuboProtocol reported an exploited vulnerability in their contracts, which was used to steal approved user funds. A full post-mortem is said to follow, but we've already created an exploit checker below 👇 revoke.cash/exploits/ekubo

DeFi Doesn’t Remove Trust — It Engineers It 🔐 DeFi was built on a powerful, almost rebellious idea: “Don’t trust people. Trust code.” For a while, that narrative held. “Trustless systems.” “Code is law.” “No intermediaries.” Clean. Elegant. Convincing. But as DeFi matured, reality caught up. No system is truly trustless. Trust didn’t disappear — it moved. And today, the real question isn’t whether trust exists. It’s where it exists — and how well it’s designed. Where Trust Actually Lives in DeFi ⚙️ Strip away the narrative, and you’ll find trust embedded everywhere: 🔹Smart contracts → You trust that the logic is correct, audited, and free of edge-case exploits 🔹Governance systems → You trust token holders or delegates to act rationally 🔹Oracles → You trust external data feeds to reflect reality 🔹Bridges → You trust cross-chain infrastructure not to fail catastrophically 🔹Execution layers → You trust transactions will be ordered and processed fairly None of this is inherently bad. But it reveals something critical: 👉 DeFi doesn’t eliminate trust — it abstracts it Often so well that users forget it’s there. The Problem With “Decentralization Theatre” 🎭 As DeFi scaled, a pattern emerged: Systems that look decentralized… but aren’t necessarily resilient. Consider: 🔹Multisigs presented as security, but controlled by a small group 🔹DAOs with minimal participation, where governance is effectively passive 🔹Timelocks that delay risk, but don’t remove it 🔹Protocols that cannot react when something breaks This is decentralization theatre — the appearance of safety without the substance. And in high-stakes financial systems, appearances don’t protect capital. Resilience does. Engineered Trust: A Better Model 🧠 If trust is unavoidable, the goal isn’t to deny it. The goal is to design it deliberately. Engineered trust means: 🔹Clear roles and responsibilities 🔹Explicit permissions 🔹Enforced constraints 🔹Systems that can respond under stress This is how mature financial systems operate. Not by pretending trust doesn’t exist — but by structuring it so failure is contained, predictable, and manageable. Why Operational Security Matters 🛡️ Code is powerful. But it is not omniscient. Real-world systems require: Continuous monitoring Rapid response mechanisms Human judgment in edge cases Layered security models Because not every failure is foreseeable. And not every threat is programmable. DeFi security isn’t just about prevention — it’s about response. How Concrete Approaches Trust Differently 🧩 This is where Concrete introduces a shift. Instead of hiding trust assumptions, it makes them explicit. Instead of relying purely on static code, it builds systems designed to operate under real conditions. Concrete focuses on: 🔹Explicit trust models — no hidden assumptions 🔹Onchain enforcement + offchain intelligence 🔹Role-based architecture with clearly defined permissions 🔹Controlled execution environments 🔹Systems designed for response, not just prevention At the core are Concrete vaults — infrastructure built for operational security, not just passive decentralization. This approach aligns with the needs of institutional DeFi, where risk isn’t theoretical — it’s measured, managed, and continuously monitored. Concrete doesn’t participate in decentralization theatre. It builds DeFi infrastructure that behaves correctly under stress. The Bigger Shift 🚀 DeFi is evolving. The “trustless” narrative is giving way to something more mature: 🔹Trust isn’t denied — it’s structured 🔹Security isn’t assumed — it’s enforced 🔹Resilience matters more than ideology The next generation of systems won’t be judged by how loudly they claim decentralization… But by how they perform when things go wrong. Because in the end: The future of DeFi won’t be defined by who removes trust. It will be defined by who engineers it best. 🚨 Explore Concrete at concrete.xyz 🚨

🚨 Very Important Guys ⚠️ Delete These Extensions Before It’s Too Late Quick Security Check - Do This RIGHT NOW 👀 Open your browser. Go to your extensions page. And ask yourself: 👉 “Do I actually use all of these?” Because some browser extensions can: ⚠️ Read your clipboard ⚠️ Track your activity ⚠️ Steal copied seed phrases & wallet data Especially in crypto… one bad extension is enough to drain everything 💀 🛡️ What you should do NOW: ✅ Remove every extension you don’t recognize ✅ Delete extensions you no longer use ✅ Keep only trusted & necessary ones ✅ Never store seed phrases in browser notes/extensions Most wallet hacks don’t happen from smart contracts… they happen because of poor security habits Stay paranoid. Stay safe. 🔐 #Airdrop #Crypto

Most blockchains are a shared spreadsheet. Unicity replaces it with a cryptographic object you hold. No one else sees it. Why do we need this for an agentic internet? 🤔
